Victoria Lund

Junior Analyst

Victoria is driven to address societal challenges posed by climate change through the transformative potential of Wellbeing Economy and New Economic approaches. She regards these paradigms as essential to achieving systemic change, providing a foundation for advancing climate justice across multiple dimensions—spanning national and global scales and extending temporally to ensure intergenerational equity.

Victoria is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies with a major in Sociology at Lund University, where her academic focus is on climate change. Her professional experience is centered on the intersection of economics and climate action. She has been part of the Lund University School of Management and Economics think tank, Sustainable Future Hub, collaborating with external industry actors to address sustainability challenges. Additionally, she has worked at the NGO AnsvarligFremtid, focusing on fossil fuel divestment initiatives. Beyond her professional experiences, Victoria has been actively involved in climate activism, engaging with youth and student organizations in Copenhagen, Lund, and Amsterdam during her exchange semester at the University of Amsterdam.

 

As a junior analyst at WELA, Victoria manages a diverse array of tasks in communication and administration.

In her free time, Victoria enjoys playing music and spending time with friends and family.
