Esther Emborg Bünemann
Junior Analyst
Esther is concerned with how society can be organized so that all people are empowered to live meaningful lives without jeopardizing the well-being of the planet and future generations. She is motivated by working on a new language for what is seen as the good life, as well as new methods for measuring progress as a prerequisite for better lives on a sustainable planet.

Esther studies political science at the University of Copenhagen and has previously studied outdoor leadership at the University of South-Eastern Norway. She has several years of experience with volunteer work focused on climate and the economy through the Green Youth Movement (Den Grønne Ungdomsbevægelse). In the spring of 2024, Esther co-authored the post-growth business handbook "Til Fremtidens Virksomheder". Additionally, she has worked with youth civic engagement as house coordinator at the Youth Democracy House (Ungdommens Demokratihus).

As a junior analyst at WELA, Esther is responsible for various tasks related to administration and communication, and is also affiliated with the Danish Coalition for Future Generations.
Outside of her studies and work, Esther enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with friends, and reading books.
