Karoline Klinte
Intern
Karoline’s motivation for joining WELA stems from her conviction that implementing a Wellbeing Economy has the potential to address some of the most pressing and fundamental challenges confronting society today. She is driven by opportunities to think ambitiously and engage in collaborative efforts that challenge conventional perspectives and established practices. In particular, she highlights the lack of focus on fostering a meaningful daily life and ensuring a sustainable future—both for the present generation and those to come.

Karoline is pursuing a master’s degree in sociology, with a particular interest in the ways knowledge is produced and applied within diverse organizational and political contexts. She is invested in understanding how individuals influence one another and are shaped by societal structures. Karoline views curiosity as essential for uncovering the drivers and motivations of human behaviour and considers this insight crucial for devising collective solutions that respect individual needs while preserving freedom and autonomy.
During her six-month internship at WELA, Karoline will primarily contribute to the projects Sammen om Hinanden and Meeqqat Toqqissillutik Ornittagassaat. Her role will include designing surveys, conducting interviews, and analyzing data through both qualitative and quantitative methods.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Karoline enjoys spending time with friends and family, attending concerts, playing tennis, or immersing herself in a good novel. She thrives in outdoor environments and has a passion for traveling to explore new cultures and perspectives.
